Head of Chemical Operations and Logistics - India

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and achieve business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Collaborate with trading, sales, compliance, finance, and treasury teams to align operations with organizational goals.
- Establish and track KPIs for operations, inventory, and service delivery.
- Manage transportation, terminals/warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Analyze logistics networks and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers and logistics service providers.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all logistics activities.
- Recruit, Lead, train and mentor teams across operations and logistics functions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets for operations and logistics.
Prepare regular reports on operational performance, cost control, and logistics KPIs for senior management
