Position: Heavy Duty Shop Foreman
Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Daytime
Wage Range: $48 - $55 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities
As a Shop Foreman, a normal day would include:
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as the primary technical resource for the shop; diagnosing complex semi-truck issues and explaining repair procedures to apprentice technicians to ensure growth and accuracy.
- Advanced Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Lead the "detective work" by identifying mechanical issues beyond the initial work order, ensuring that all underlying vehicle problems are caught and addressed before the unit leaves the shop.
- Workflow & Schedule Optimization: Estimate repair timelines accurately to manage shop flow, ensuring efficient scheduling and that all vehicles are repaired correctly the first time to minimize comebacks.
- Parts & Inventory Liaison: Maintain seamless communication with the Parts Department and Service Consultants to identify required components early, ensuring all parts are correctly billed and available to prevent bay delays.
- Quality Control & Warranty Compliance: Oversee the final inspection of completed work orders to ensure they meet strict department quality standards and adhere to established warranty repair policies and documentation.
Qualifications

- Certification: Red Seal Truck Transport Technciain ticket & valid Manitoba Safety ticket.
- Leadership: Strong communication skills, ability to keep composure and maintain empathy during interactions.
- Documentation Skills: Proven ability to document detailed repairs and charges on work orders.
- Compliance: Knowledge of and ability to comply with quality control and inspection requirements.
- Physical/Soft Skills: Must be physcially capable of lifting 50lbs throughout the day as needed. Also need to be competent in using computers.
