Randstad is currently seeking Horticulturists for an initial 3-month casual contract with a prominent Central/Southern Council.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure local government experience, offering a great entry point for those with foundational skills, as well as a rewarding role for experienced horticulturists looking for immediate work. While initially a 3-month placement, there is a possibility of extension based on performance and seasonal council requirements.
What You'll Need To Succeed:
Along with a proven background in Horticulture you will have:
- MR Truck License or above
- General garden maintenance, weeding, pruning, and mulching across council parks, reserves, and streetscapes.
- Weed control and brush cutting experience
- Able to use all relevant tools and machinery required (front-deck mower, brush cutters)
Licences and Qualifications Highly Desired:
- Certificate III Horticulture
- Chem Cert accreditation
- Work Zone Traffic Management Ticket
