Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days WFH)About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a large national transport organisation on a 6-month contract, providing cover during a period of leave and acting as a key HR partner for Victoria!

This role supports the full employee lifecycle and works closely with leaders to provide practical, day-to-day HR advice in a busy operational environment.

Your role

• Provide end-to-end HR advisory support across the business
• Lead employee relations matters
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment activity
• Work alongside the Learning & Development function to support capability-building and training initiatives
• Contribute to workforce planning and broader talent and people strategies
• Support HR governance activities including audits, compliance, policy interpretation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify and drive improvements across HR systems, processes, and ways of working
• Provide high-level HR coordination and operational support across the employee lifecycle

About You

• Experience in a HR Generalist role
• Strong background in employee relations
• Confident operating in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Balanced, pragmatic approach with strong commercial awareness and people focus
• Enjoys variety and working across both operational and advisory HR responsibilities
