Job Title: HR Truck Driver – Temp to Perm
Location: Dandenong, VIC Employment Type: Temp to Perm Pay Rate: $40.20 per hour
We are seeking a reliable HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck Driver to join our Dandenong team. If you want consistent hours, a stable Monday-to-Friday roster, and a clear pathway to permanent employment, this role is for you. While experience with tailgates and Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJ) is preferred, we provide full training for the right candidate.
What You Will Be Doing- Safely operating an HR vehicle for local and regional deliveries.
- Performing pre-start checks and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
- Loading and unloading freight using a tailgate and EPJ.
- Completing run sheets, delivery dockets, and compliance paperwork accurately.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
- Adhering strictly to all road safety regulations, fatigue management guidelines, and safety policies.
- Days: Monday to Friday (No weekends)
- Hours: 8 to 12-hour shifts per day, based on run and volume.
- Start Time: Early starts between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM.
- Valid, unrestricted HR Australian driver’s license.
- Clean driving record and a strict focus on road safety.
- Experience operating tailgates and EPJs preferred, but we will train excellent drivers without it.
- Good physical fitness for manual handling and freight manipulation.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality.
