Primary Objective: The Retail HR Specialist's primary role involves formulating, proposing, and executing policies and initiatives within the HR domain, specifically focusing on retail talent management (including recruitment, performance assessment, training, and development), employee relations, organizational development and planning, and other HR-related concerns, acting as an HR Business Partner (HRBP). Collaborating closely with the retail management team, the Retail HR Specialist comprehends business strategies, assesses business requirements, and collaborates on decisions, while championing HR initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives. Additionally, the Retail HR Specialist oversees various HR projects.Key Responsibilities: HR Business Partnering (HRBP)•Deliver high-quality HR services and outcomes across core HR functions such as employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and training and development.•Forge strong partnerships with Retail and Retail Management, establishing a consultative role as a subject matter expert within the retail organization.•Collaborate with Retail Management to provide strategic HR guidance on talent development practices and processes, including performance management, organizational reviews, succession planning, and career development.Talent Acquisition•Coordinate the recruitment process for retail positions in collaboration with the Retail team.•Collaborate with Retail Management to devise comprehensive talent acquisition strategies, particularly for challenging vacancies.Employee Relations•Offer guidance and assistance to Retail Management concerning labor regulations and policies.•Provide personal counseling to employees to address issues related to employee relations.•Implement effective coaching, counseling, and disciplinary measures for all employee relations matters, including terminations.HR-Related Projects•Lead and manage HR projects at both global and local levels.•Ensure project timelines are met and enhance project efficiency.•Continuously assess and propose innovative approaches to improve the productivity, profitability, and quality of HR practices within the retail business.•Participate in HQ projects involving HRBP functions.
求められる経験
•A minimum of 5 years of robust experience as an HR professional, preferably in the Retail Industry, either as a generalist or Business Partner.
•Proficient in handling recruitment activities within a fast-paced, multicultural setting with high volume demands.
•Demonstrated ability to engage in detailed analysis with an analytical mindset.
•Excellent communication skills, fluent in both advanced-level Japanese and business English.
•Proficient in computer usage, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
•Capable of working independently while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
•Familiarity with Japanese labor laws is essential. Competencies:
