Looking to recruit a proactive and knowledgeable HSE Advisor to join a leading regional Maintenance/ Property Services contractor.
Offering up to £50,400 + car allowance and great benefits. Significant regional travel required - this role covers Midlands and South - Oxford, Gloucestershire, Cambridge, Peterborough, Birmingham.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with SHE legislation, CDM regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and lead incident investigations.
- Provide expert SHE coaching and support to project teams, directors, and supply chain partners.
- Monitor site safety and environmental performance, reviewing RAMS and project plans.
- Maintain and enhance SHE Management Systems (ISO 14001, 45001).
- Champion behavioural safety and contribute SHE expertise to strategic planning and bids.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Health & Safety.
- Strong understanding of SHE legislation and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Willingness to develop knowledge around the Building Safety Act 2022 & BSR.
