Health & Safety Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international safety laws and regulations applicable to the aluminium extrusion industry.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections regularly, and lead initiatives to reduce workplace accidents and incidents.
- Lead accident/incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up corrective actions.
- Organize safety training programs and awareness campaigns for all levels of employees.
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring employee engagement and ownership of safety practices.
2. Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations related to emissions, waste management, water usage, and other environmental aspects of the plant.
- Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures aligned with sustainability goals.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance and liaise with regulatory bodies.
- Lead initiatives for waste reduction, energy conservation, and sustainable resource use.
3. Human Resource Management
- Oversee HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and development.
- Develop and implement HR policies and programs that support employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
- Manage employee welfare programs and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Facilitate communication between management and employees to foster a positive work environment.
- Handle disciplinary actions, grievance resolution, and conflict management in coordination with plant leadership.
4. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HSE and HR teams to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate closely with plant leadership and other department heads to integrate HSE and HR practices into daily operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, environment, and human resources.
5. Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and present regular reports on safety performance, environmental compliance, and HR metrics to senior management.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all safety incidents, training, inspections, and audits.
- Support external audits and inspections by regulatory authorities and customers.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resource Management, or related field.
- Professional certifications like NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in HSE and HR roles within manufacturing or heavy industry sectors.
- Proven track record in managing large teams and handling complex safety, environment, and HR challenges.
