Randstad has partnered with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced HVAC Technician for their dedicated team in Caboolture.
In this role, you will be joining our client’s established on-site maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep of a major health infrastructure precinct. This is a fantastic opportunity to move away from "van-based" reactive work and secure a stable, long-term position within a government-sector environment.
Pay & Lifestyle
Hourly Rate: $56.95 per hour + Super.
Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 9-day fortnight roster.
Overtime Opportunities: While the roster provides great balance, there are periodic opportunities for overtime to support site-specific projects and seasonal peaks.
The Location Based permanently at a Caboolture site, you will benefit from a fixed location, no daily travel across South East Queensland, and the professional standards of a high-security government facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on large-scale commercial HVAC plant (Chillers, AHUs, and Package Units).
Conduct diagnostic fault-finding to ensure 100% uptime for critical climate systems.
Work as part of the client's integrated facilities team to deliver minor system upgrades.
Maintain high standards of safety and digital reporting in line with site requirements.
Requirements:
Cert III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
Restricted Electrical Licence (Essential).
Current QBCC Licence (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning).
Proven experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional maintenance.
Ability to pass a standard National Police Check for site access.
