What you bring:
Ticketed Electrician with solid industrial maintenance experience
Confident working independently as well as within a team environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across electrical systems and equipment
Previous experience working in a high-volume food and beverage manufacturing facility is considered a strong asset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure food manufacturing environment
Able to respond quickly to equipment issues to support production uptime
Flexible with shift schedules and open to overtime as required
Safety-focused with a strong understanding of industrial workplace practices
Position: Industrial Electrician
Location: Delta, BC
Contract Length: 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire
Schedule Options:
Option 1: Thursday–Monday 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM (8-hour shifts)
Option 2: Friday–Monday 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
Compensation: $40.00/hour + $1.50/hour night shift premium
Electrician ticket or equivalent, RED seal an asset
Eligibility: You are currently located in and legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
Work with motors, pumps, conveyors, lighting systems, and control devices
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
Support installation, alignment, and maintenance of production equipment
Diagnose and repair breakdowns to minimize production downtime
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and equipment calibration
Work with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
Complete maintenance reports and work orders using CMMS
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to resolve issues
Adhere to safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, SQF)
Qualifications
Electrician ticket required (Red Seal not required, but considered an asset)
3–5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing (food industry preferred)
Experience with industrial controls (Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs, VFDs, HMIs)
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PLC logic
Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Comfortable working independently and under pressure
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS systems)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
