About your new role
The Infrastructure Investment Planning Officer coordinates planning activities for assigned investment portfolios. The role supports budget submissions, project prioritization, investment governance, and process improvements to ensure capital infrastructure projects are well-planned, funded, and ready for execution.

What you will need to exceed
- Experience in PMO (Project Management Office), capital allocation, infrastructure asset management, or public sector policy and planning.
- Direct experience contributing to formal corporate or government budget submission cycles, business cases, and strategic asset management plans.
- Proven experience working with multi-year capital expenditure (CapEx) pipelines, unfunded project lists, or grant funding programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, database tools, or ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, internal project systems). They can clean, analyze, and synthesize large project datasets without making errors.
- Strong business writing skills. They should be able to draft executive briefings, committee papers, and funding submissions that are clear, concise, and governance-ready.
- Ability to evaluate whether a project is truly ready for funding—understanding pre-construction steps like site scoping, risk mapping, approvals, and cost estimation.
