To support the Market Access department, you must meet the following requirements:

You are pursuing a Master degree in Health Economics, Modelling, Health technology Assessment, Biomedical Sciences or related.
You speak English or Dutch
You are available full-time
You are available 5 days a week
You are available for at least 5 months
You are willing to work in Breda

what will you do

As a Market Access Intern, you will play an active part in helping innovative medicines reach the patients who need them in the Netherlands. You will support our team with cost-effectiveness analyses and the preparation of reimbursement dossiers.

We believe an internship should fit your personal and academic goals. Therefore, the precise scope of your project will be agreed upon with you, taking into account your background and thesis requirements. Depending on your focus, your work may involve:

Adapting a cost-effectiveness model to the Dutch healthcare setting
Preparing comprehensive reimbursement dossiers
Contributing directly to projects that secure patient access to breakthrough treatments

where will you work

You will be based at the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine office in Breda within the Market Access department. You’ll join a collaborative team of around 22 colleagues spread across Health Economics, Market Access & Reimbursement (HEMAR), Pricing & Field Access, and Contracting.

The team brings together a wide variety of academic backgrounds from health economics to biomedical sciences and pharmacy. Together, we work to enable patient access in the Netherlands through pricing, contracting, reimbursement strategies, and strong partnerships with healthcare stakeholders.
