Training Needs Analysis (TNA) & Skill Mapping
- Conduct plant-wide Training Needs Analysis (TNA) aligned with production targets, safety requirements, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, OHSAS).
- Build and maintain a Skill Matrix for shop-floor operators, technicians, and supervisors to identify skill gaps and cross-skilling opportunities.
- Work closely with Plant Managers, Quality Control, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) teams to tailor technical and safety learning interventions.
2. Program Design, Delivery & Onboarding
- Oversee structured New Hire Onboarding (NHO) and machine-specific orientation for factory floor workers and technical staff.
- Design and execute operational training modules covering Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Quality Management.
- Implement a blended learning strategy combining classroom instruction, hands-on shop-floor coaching, micro-learning, and digital LMS tools.
3. Compliance, EHS & Quality Standards
- Ensure 100% compliance tracking for mandatory safety certifications, EHS protocols, regulatory requirements, and ISO audit standards.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of training attendance, certifications, and compliance logs.
4. Leadership & Supervisory Development
- Develop and deliver "First-Time Supervisor" and leadership programs for shop-floor leaders and line managers.
- Drive soft-skills development, conflict resolution, shift communication, and team management modules.
5. L&D Analytics, ROI & Continuous Improvement
- Define and measure key L&D metrics: Training Hours, Skill Matrix Coverage, Defect Reduction Post-Training, OEE Impact, and Safety Incident Rates.
- Evaluate external vendor solutions and manage the L&D budget effectively.
