For a company based in Leuven active as a oligo manufacturer and evolving to a leading genomics solutions provider, we are looking for a Lab Assistent who can work in a temporary position in a fix early shift

As a lab assistent you provides assistance to Operations by cleaning, decontamination and waste disposal.

key responsibilities
- Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols.
- Keep the lab orderly and functional.
- Change waste containers and dispose of waste material.
- Keep stock levels sufficient in the lab.
- Assist with general laboratory maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed product & instrument records.
- Communicate with all levels of peers and management.
- Perform other duties as specified by management.
- Report any problems to management.
- Follow all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Additional tasks
- Prepare synthesis plates or columns so that they are ready for synthesis; which includes washing, drying, fritting and membrane loading.
- Perform quality and safety control checks.
- Perform optical density measurements.
You work in a early shift from Monday to Friday from 6:00-13:30
qualifications
High school degree or equivalent job experience with interest in science
A first working experience is a plus.
Fluency in Dutch and proficient in English, or fluent in English.
Ability to work independently
Punctual & accurate way of working
Team player
Ability to perform repetitive work according to set procedures
Stress resiliency
