Do you enjoy designing engaging learning experiences and helping teams grow? We’re looking for a Learning & Development Consultant to join a supportive, high-performing team in a leading public sector organisation. This contract is an exciting opportunity to design, deliver, and evaluate learning programs that directly support employee development and organisational capability
What your role involves:
Conducting detailed learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
Designing and delivering interactive workshops, training sessions, and seminars that engage diverse teams.
Managing the Learning Management System, developing course materials, tracking progress, and generating reports.
Evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs using feedback, assessment tools, and ROI analysis.
Supporting organisational development initiatives, including cross-training, knowledge sharing, and skills mapping.
Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure learning initiatives align with business goals.
About you:
Proven experience in training and development, including designing and delivering engaging workshops.
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
Experience in assessing training effectiveness and implementing continuous improvement.
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Understanding of workplace legislation, including Work Health and Safety, and Equal Employment Opportunity principles.
Desirable:
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Coaching qualification.
Experience using evaluation frameworks such as the Kirkpatrick model.
