legal confidentiality assistant - legal affairs services unit.

The interim will:

• Execute technical and legal assessments of confidentiality dossiers, primarily within the PEST and Food Chain sectors (e.g. Food Contact Materials) for the CP Team portfolio;
• Streamline the processing of sensitive documentation to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection standards;
• Draft, update, and manage internal templates and guidance documents to maintain procedural consistency across the department;
• Conduct in-depth legal research and assist in the preparation of legal opinions and advisory notes regarding CP area regulations;
• Provide administrative and analytical support to staff members in the day-to-day management of confidentiality claims.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);
• Previous experience in Confidentiality Assessment and/or Transparency Regulation;
• Previous experience in Food Law and/or Administrative Law;
• Behavioural competencies: high level of commitment, political savvy, intellectual horsepower and ability to work with others. 

Assignment: initial contract of 3/4 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.

Salary: approx. €2326 per month before taxes.

Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.
