Key Responsibilies -
1. Planning & Engineering
Prepare detailed liŌing plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
Design lifting arrangements including rigging configurations.
Perform load calculations, center of gravity calculaƟons, and crane selection.
Review lifting drawings and approve lifting points.
Ensure compliance with standards such as: o Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA)
o Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) o American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) o International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
2. Site Supervision -
Supervise critical and heavy lift operations.
Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, supervisors, and safety teams.
Ensure proper rigging, slinging, and signaling practices.
Monitor weather conditions affecting lifting operations.
Conduct toolbox talks and pre meetings
3. Safety & Compliance -
Ensure all lifting equipment is certified and inspected.
Verify crane load charts and lifting accessories certifications.
Conduct hazard idenƟficaƟon and risk migation.
InvesƟgate liŌing-related incidents and prepare reports. Ensure compliance with project HSE & O&M requirements.
