As a Litigation Associate, your main responsibilities will include:
- Advising multinational clients on a broad spectrum of commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Handling regulatory investigations, compliance reviews, and enforcement proceedings initiated by regulatory bodies such as the SFC and HKMA.
- Drafting high-quality pleadings, witness statements, submissions, and letters of advice.
- Conducting extensive legal research and managing complex document review processes.
- Liaising directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and barristers on ongoing case strategies.
- Assisting in business development initiatives and representing the firm at key industry events.
skills & experience required.
- A minimum of 2 to 7 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) gained within a reputable peer international or top-tier local law firm.
- Admitted to practice as a Solicitor in Hong Kong (mandatory qualification).
- Proven track record in handling commercial litigation, cross-border disputes, or regulatory investigation matters.
- Exceptional drafting and analytical skills, with sharp attention to detail.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, alongside professional proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese to interact with regional clients.
- An agile mind, a strong team-player mentality, and a desire to take on early responsibility.
