Responsibilities
Dealer Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for dealers once machines are ready for delivery; assist in coordinating transportation and logistics timelines.
Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the inbound and outbound flow of heavy and industrial equipment, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
Logistics Management: Source and manage relationships with third-party freight carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of heavy machinery.
Inventory Oversight: Maintain real-time accuracy of equipment status within our system, moving units through the pipeline from arrival to final delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the service and sales teams to prioritize outgoing shipments based on dealer urgency and machine readiness.
Taking clear, methodical photos and visual inspections
Checking the physical shipment against the packing slip or manifest and documenting the tickets.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or coordination
English with an advanced French (written and spoken)
English-speaking internal and external [clients/partners/employees] located outside Quebec on a [daily/regular] basis
Strong computer skills and data entry experience
Heavy machinery or industrial equipment sectors an asset
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you must be comfortable negotiating with carriers and providing clear updates to dealers.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems.
Microsoft (Word, Excel)
Physical Environment: Comfortable working in a hybrid environment that transitions between a professional office setting and an active warehouse floor.
Might be required to lift between 30-50pounds at a given time
