Responsibilities
- Shipment Management: Dispatch and coordinate incoming and outgoing Canada/USA cross-border freight (Full Truckload and LTL), tracking shipments from initial request through final delivery.
- Customer Support: Handle customer transportation inquiries via phone and email, providing prompt quotes and entering sales orders into the system.
- Carrier Relations & Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates with Canadian and US carriers and proactively source new transportation providers.
- Dedicated Account Support: Supervise and distribute orders for dedicated customer accounts.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of transport and logistics.
• Understanding of customs clearance processes and Canada/US geography..
• Advanced skills with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to secure competitive freight rates while building lasting provider relationships.
