About Us: Randstad is a leading provider of high-quality concrete solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We operate a modern, high-volume concrete batching plant at Swanbank and are committed to safety, efficiency, and excellence in all we do.
The Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Loader Driver to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a front-end loader within our concrete batching plant. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of plant operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a front-end loader to move and load raw materials (aggregates, sand, etc.) into the batching plant's hoppers.
Monitor stock levels and ensure a consistent supply of materials to meet production demands.
Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the loader to ensure it is in good working order.
Assist with general plant housekeeping and maintenance as required.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with the plant operator and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a loader driver, ideally within a concrete batching plant or similar heavy industry environment.
Valid and current Australian driver's license and relevant plant operator's license/ticket.
A strong understanding of loader operation, safety protocols, and maintenance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Desirable (but not essential) Skills:
Experience with other heavy machinery (e.g., loaders, forklifts).
Knowledge of concrete production processes.
