Randstad are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to support production at a waste management site in Dandenong South.
Immediate start! 12 hour shifts and nightshift required. Pay over $50 per hour.
7am-3pm ordinary shift time however when production is running hours will be 6am-6pm one week and 6pm-6am the next week (nighshift penalty rates apply).

The role:

Undertake general plant assembly, disassembly and maintenance work associated with the thermal and soil washing plant.
Continuous monitoring of the plant during operations and communicate any observed issues to the Control Room Operator.
Provide relief for the Control Room Operator.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and ensure good housekeeping practices.
Monitoring of process equipment condition, including conveyor belt tracking, and bearing condition and administer scheduled bearing lubrication.
Preventative and unscheduled maintenance.
Assist the Production Engineer, Maintenance Engineer and Facility Manager with capital works projects.
Assist in the completion of additional tasks as required such as taking soil samples.
Operate mobile plant (as per qualifications) and other plant in situations required by Production engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/Facility Manager.

What you need

Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade Qualification)
Pass a full medical (drug and alcohol test).
National Police Check.
