Due to continuous site growth, they are expanding their advanced production facility in Clayton South and are seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to secure a full-time, permanent position on the Afternoon Shift.
The Opportunity: Precision Reliability & Plant Optimisation
Reporting directly to the Reliability & Maintenance Manager, this is a hands-on, on-the-tools role where you will be integral to the site's success. Forget chaotic breakdown yards; this is a fast-paced, highly organised FMCG food manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for ensuring the absolute reliability, safety, and efficiency of highly automated assets—spanning Volumetric Filling machinery, advanced mixing systems, and complex Case Packing lines.
What You Will Do:
- Mechanical Care: Carry out precision preventative and corrective maintenance across high-speed production lines and utilities equipment.
- Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Rapidly diagnose mechanical faults, performing timely repairs to minimise production downtime with a strong focus on root-cause analysis.
- Asset Tracking: Utilise the MEX/Fiix CMMS system to log completed work orders, manage critical spare parts, and build data-driven foundations for predictive maintenance.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, line upgrades, and reliability projects to optimise overall plant efficiency.
- Compliance & Safety: Complete all maintenance activities safely and in line with strict site procedures, standard GMP practices, and food safety regulations.

What You Bring:
