As a Millwright, you will be a key member of a skilled maintenance team, working in a heavy industrial setting to keep specialized machinery running at peak performance.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Schedule: Continental Schedule (12-hour shifts, rotating Days and Nights)
Environment: Steel Manufacturing / Heavy Industrial
Wage: $46.20 per hour for Journeypersons (+ Night Shift Premium)

Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled inspections and repairs on pumps, seals, motors, and conveyors.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize production downtime.
- Collaboration: Work daily with plant engineers, electricians, and operators to identify equipment improvement opportunities.
- Precision Fitting: Interpret technical drawings to assemble, align, and adjust machinery for optimal performance.
- Emergency Response: Rapidly respond to equipment breakdowns to ensure production targets are safely met.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS.
Qualifications
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Certification: Valid Alberta Journeyman Millwright Certificate or registered 3rd/4th Year Apprentice.
- Experience: Proven experience maintaining equipment in a heavy industrial or plant environment.
- Safety Mindset: A "zero-harm" commitment and the ability to pass a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol test.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating day/night continental schedule.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills and basic computer literacy for record-keeping.
