Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Maintain and improve preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize production yields
Technical Support: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair specialized equipment in a timely manner
Personnel Management: Handle scheduling, performance feedback, training, succession planning, and the administration of company policies
Safety & Quality: Lead safety initiatives, including inspections and audits (LPA and 5S), to maintain high organizational standards
Inventory & Logistics: Responsible for ordering and tracking equipment parts and supplies
Continuous Improvement: Support cross-functional teams and lead initiatives to improve management systems and production results
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Certification: Must hold a valid Millwright Certificate of Qualification or a Provincial Electrician Ticket
Experience: 3–5 years of related work experience, including prior supervisory experience
Technical Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair
industrial maintenance equipment and proficiency in MS Office
Leadership Traits: Strong ability to coach and mentor a team with a focus on results and safety
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
