key responsibilities
- Compliance & control: Perform daily controls on the accuracy and conformity of treasury transactions (including MMF, FX spots, forwards, swaps in ~40 currencies, commercial papers, and interest rate swaps).
- Settlement management: Monitor and manage daily financial settlements according to bank standing instructions and strict cut-off times.
- Reporting: Deliver daily and monthly reporting on counterparty exposures, financial instrument limits, and ad-hoc treasury activities.
- Audit & systems support: Support internal and external audit processes and maintain standing settlement instructions (SSI) within the Treasury Management System to ensure correct recording.
- Problem solving: Effectively follow up on litigations with banking partners and collaborate closely with the Front Office.
qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Treasury (Back Office, Cash Management, or In-House Banking) within a corporate treasury or banking environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial instruments, debt capital markets, and compliance frameworks (SOX experience is a strong asset).
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., SAP) and electronic banking systems (SWIFT).
- Fluent in both English and French.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and able to deliver under pressure while maintaining a proactive approach to process improvement.
