key responsibilities
- Installing and optimizing mechanical components of the machinery.
- Performing assembly work, including the placement of shafts, bearings, couplings, and seals.
- Installing pneumatic and hydraulic circuits according to technical drawings.
- Carrying out various welding tasks to connect structures and machine parts.
- Actively contributing to the maintenance and repair of machines to minimize downtime.
- Identifying potential improvement points for the machinery to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborating with other technical disciplines to ensure an integrated approach.

qualifications
- Minimum of a Technical Secondary Education (TSO) diploma in (electro)mechanics or maintenance mechanics.
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings and precise measuring using instruments (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
- Eagerness to learn and a motivated attitude towards continuous development.
- Ability to work safely and accurately, both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system.
- Experience with welding (semi-automatic, electric arc welding) is required.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits (installation based on drawings).
- Experience with turning and milling is a plus.
