In this role, you will be more than just a Mechanical Assembler. You will be a key support for the assembly team, handling everything from raw material preparation to the final touches on subassemblies. Whether you are using power tools to drill and bolt components or ensuring the facility remains organized and safe, your work as a Mechanical Assembler is essential. Straight day shift schedule Monday to Thursday 7-5, Friday 7-1pm.

Responsibilities
• Support the assembly team by performing mechanical assembly of multiple truck body components.
• Use hand and power tools safely to measure, align, drill, bolt, screw, and rivet various parts.
• Perform raw material preparation by cutting wood or steel in anticipation of manufacture and assembly.
• Assist with assembly prep work for various subassemblies to maintain a steady production flow.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment by emptying garbage, sweeping, and organizing tools.
• Clean and prepare trucks for shipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Handle light receiving duties and assist the shop foreman with general daily tasks as required.
• Follow all safety protocols within the manufacturing and logistics facility to prevent workplace accidents.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a manufacturing and logistics or shop environment is preferred.
• Proven experience with manual tools and basic power equipment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a natural ability to work with your hands.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance.
• Strong communication skills to follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
