We are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician with a practical, hands-on approach. Does your profile match the points below?
- You have an MBO level 4 mindset where a degree is a plus, but your technical experience counts most.
- You bring essential experience in assembly and we value your hands-on skills more than your formal paperwork.
- You possess a solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems to deal with our complex equipment.
- You feel confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions in English.
- You are an independent worker who enjoys performing physically active tasks on large-scale medical systems.
what will you do
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will work on the production of geometric X-ray arches. These are advanced medical systems used by hospitals worldwide. It is complex technical work. It is also physically demanding. You will assemble parts according to technical drawings and work instructions. You will also test the systems for mechanical and electrical functionality.
Furthermore, you will work on various components, such as the arches, flex arms, and the L-arc. Being comfortable with hand tools is essential for this position. You will be part of a production environment where precision is key.
where will you work
Philips Healthcare in Best develops and produces advanced medical equipment. Our portfolio includes MRI machines, DXR machines, and IGT systems. These products support hospitals and medical specialists across the globe. Our department is growing rapidly, and we need your expertise to reach our new production goals.
You will join an informal team of about 30 colleagues, including technicians, troubleshooters, spinners, and testers. Expect a social and collegial atmosphere where teamwork is a priority. Two team leaders are available to provide support and guidance.
A thorough, two-month training period marks your start at Philips. During this time, a dedicated mentor will guide you through our processes. Completing this training results in a formal certification, ensuring you are fully prepared for the role.
