Our Client is looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor to join the Flotation Integrity Project at Olympic Dam. This critical "first fuel" phase requires a hands-on leader to manage mechanical turnover and system readiness.
...Your Responsibilities:
* Execute mechanical testing, including motor rotation and water flow trials.
* Oversee equipment setup, focusing on valves and mechanical integrity.
* Drive the circuit toward "Water Commissioning" readiness.
* Collaborate with E&I specialists to ensure safe equipment energization.
* Facilitate a seamless handover to the operations team for Slurry Commissioning.
Roster & Logistics:
* 8 days on, 6 days off (Wednesday-to-Wednesday).
* FIFO from Adelaide (Interstate NSW/VIC considered).
* Initial 3-4 month contract starting late March.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in mechanical commissioning within the mining sector.
* Strong documentation and audit compliance skills.
* Ability to work at Olympic Dam site.
