Role and Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Randstad Professional, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and sustaining products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conceptualization and Design: Contribute to product development through specification, concept studies, volume control, interface definition, and mechanical design of components and subsystems.
- State-of-the-Art Design: Utilize the latest design methods and construction principles to create innovative and technically feasible designs.
- Bill of Materials Management: Maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) in our database, adhering to engineering change process procedures, and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Qualification and Testing: Drive the qualification of designs by specifying tests, designing test equipment, and overseeing prototype testing.
- Documentation: Deliver technical product documentation required for the release of designs for volume production.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement improvements in integration processes.
