Must understand differences in metal types and fasteners as they may look the same, but they have specific uses and materials must match

An understanding of folded metal and the variances you encounter between parts is a bonus

A basic understanding of mechanical assemblies and how they work

Must be able to work in challenging environments and with an eye for safety in all aspects of the job

Ability to effectively use hand tools such as rivet guns, torque wrenches, nut runners, and screwdrivers

Be able to work on complex assemblies and ensure there are no steps missed
