Of course, you don’t just become a welder on this top-notch team! You’ll need a Level 1 or 2 certification in MIG/MAG welding. We also require full-time availability for two shifts.

The welding department welds many different components for DAF trucks. Many of the parts are welded using a welding robot and by hand. In addition, you will perform a final inspection on the finished product and, where necessary, perform manual welding to ensure compliance with specific quality standards. This includes, for example, the weld seams and components involved in the welding process. It is important that you weld high-quality products, as this is a top priority at DAF.

DAF Trucks is a major truck manufacturer based in Eindhoven. The site comprises several factories that collectively produce DAF Trucks. As part of the welding team at the Sheet Metal Components Factory (PKF), you’ll work in an environment that’s all about metal.
