About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your main responsibilities will be but aren't limited to:
- Weekly payroll processing including maintenance of leave entitlements, salary deductions, superannuation, year-end functions, PAYG reconciliation and workers compensation
- End to end payroll tasks for 600+ employees
- HR related matters including: employment related mattes, letters of appointment, pre-employment checks, salary assessment for staff.
- Subject matter expert on payroll matters and assist with budget preparation for payroll
- Work closely with the Accounting and Rewards team to ensure all adjustments identified relating to payroll in the financial analysis are made in the ledger
Ideal Candidate:
This is a great opportunity for an individual who is seeking to secure employment in the organisation.
- Experience in the end-to-end payroll function for over 3 years
- Experience in using Payroll system such as Chris21
- Experienced in the use of a range of financial packages, Excel, Access, Word and other Microsoft packages
- Experience in processing a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced organisation and provide good customer service
- Experience in preparing management, business and regulatory required reports
