About the Role

Take ownership of resolving a critical backlog of approximately 150 high-priority Long Service Leave (LSL) queries, discrepancies, and related payroll issues.
Investigate historical data and action necessary payroll adjustments, ensuring strict alignment with relevant modern awards and complex enterprise agreements.
Partner with internal stakeholders to systematically clear the ticket queue, maintaining high standards of data integrity and mitigating operational risk.
Ensure all adjustments and query resolutions adhere to strict regulatory frameworks to safeguard against escalating compliance risk and regulatory scrutiny.

About You

Proven experience operating at a Senior Payroll Officer or specialised Payroll Officer level, with a strong capability in managing complex leave queries and adjustments.
Mandatory demonstrated ability to investigate, interpret, and resolve intricate payroll issues, specifically related to LSL entitlements and award interpretation.
Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in the Healthcare sector, or closely adjacent complex environments including Aged Care, NFP, Public Service, or Education.
Exceptional analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving, capable of driving a high-volume backlog project to completion without compromising on accuracy.
