We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Project Controller to drive the financial and operational success of a diverse solar portfolio, encompassing both ground mount and rooftop installations. This role acts as the central nervous system of our projects, bridging the gap between site execution and financial accountability. You will be responsible for the "full-circle" lifecycle of a project—from permitting and structural assessments to final invoicing and financial reconciliation—ensuring every installation is documented, profitable, and on schedule.
...
Advantages
Central Influence: Serve as the primary hub for project information, directly impacting the efficiency of design, logistics, and installation teams.
Operational Depth: Gain exposure to complex ground mount logistics and structural requirements in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
Process Ownership: Take the lead on "audit-ready" documentation and financial oversight, shaping how we track manpower and project milestones.
Professional Impact: Your work directly contributes to key KPIs, including budget variance reduction and optimized payment collection cycles.
Responsibilities
Master Portfolio Tracking: Own the master project tracker, meticulously monitoring permit statuses, structural needs, and installation progress to proactively resolve bottlenecks.
Financial Stewardship: Manage project budgets, issue purchase orders, and perform rigorous "actual vs. budget" variance analysis to ensure financial health.
Full-Cycle Invoicing: Prepare and distribute client invoices based on project milestones, while aggressively tracking accounts receivable and managing vendor reconciliations.
Strategic Coordination: Synchronize workflows between the Ground Mount Logistics Coordinator and Site Superintendents to ensure manpower planning and crew dispatch align with the master schedule.
Documentation Governance: Maintain a gold standard for project records, ensuring all contracts, permits, and financial data are accurate and instantly accessible.
Qualifications
Industry Experience: Proven track record in project controls or financial coordination, ideally within the solar, renewable energy, or construction sectors.
Financial Acumen: Strong proficiency in budget management, cost forecasting, and AP/AR workflows.
Technical Literacy: Ability to navigate complex project trackers and coordinate structural or permitting requirements for technical installations.
Organizational Mastery: High level of discipline in maintaining organized, audit-ready documentation across multiple concurrent projects.
Collaborative Mindset: A natural "bridge-builder" who can effectively communicate across design, field, and finance teams to maintain project alignment
