summary
Since 1966, they’ve been at the forefront of the industry, and they aren't slowing down. We are looking for a sharp, driven professional to join their Drafting, Fabrication & Erection team—someone who loves seeing a project move from a 3D model to a physical structure.
If you are a mid-level professional who enjoys the fast-paced coordination between the drawing office, the workshop, and the site, this is the role for you. You won’t just be tracking tasks; you’ll be the "glue" that ensures high-standard projects are delivered with precision.
What your day-to-day looks like:
The Blueprint-to-Build Bridge: You’ll manage design drawings, RFIs, and documentation for IFC and Fabrication packages, ensuring the workshop has exactly what they need to start.
Production Planning: You’ll take ownership of specific work packages, assisting with batch phasing and scheduling job stages to keep the workflow moving.
Procurement & Logistics: From bolts and purlins to processed plates, you’ll manage the ordering and track supplier deliveries so the team is never standing still.
Project Pulse: You’ll monitor timelines, proactively spot potential delays, and support the management team with Variations (VOs) and progress updates.
What you’ll bring to the team:
A Technical Eye: You have a background in Construction, Drafting, or Engineering (Cert, Diploma, or Degree) and can read architectural drawings like a second language.
Industry Foundation: You have 1–3 years of experience in fabrication or project coordination and understand how structural steel actually goes together.
The Right Tools: You’re a pro with MS Office, and if you’ve used Aconex or Procore, you’ll hit the ground running.
A "Team First" Mindset: You’re organized, detail-oriented, and not afraid to take the initiative when a problem needs solving
North-Side Convenience: Skip the city traffic and work with a top-tier manufacturer in the Northern Suburbs.
Professional Standards: Join a team that values safety, quality management, and professional behavior.
Growth: We support our team with additional training as required to keep you at the top of your game.
At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all. We actively encourage applications from any background.
