What will your day look like as project engineer busbar at Siemens?
That depends on your background and experience. As a Busbar Engineer, you'll design rail channel systems that manage critical energy distribution in data centers. Occasionally, you'll also contribute to industrial projects. When complex challenges arise, we're ready to tackle them together.
Given the tight timelines and high expectations from our clients, your role will be both dynamic and varied. You'll be responsible for:
Electrical engineering of system designs
Developing technical designs in a 3D environment (Revit)
Problem-solving issues related to layout, component selection, fire safety, mechanical interfacing, electrical auxiliary systems, and cabling
Collaborating with colleagues on the design of low-voltage distributors, medium-voltage systems, or E-houses
Reviewing technical basic and detailed designs
Maintaining proactive client communication, considering commercial implications
Organizing and attending factory acceptance tests (FAT) with clients
Preparing comprehensive documentation
Providing office support during assembly and commissioning phases
Managing punch lists and ensuring seamless project completion
Developing and proposing continuous improvement initiatives
