Technical Leadership: Act as the technical lead for a team of specialist engineers on complex traction system customer projects, collaborating closely with the Commercial Project Manager.
Design Authority: Serve as the technical design authority for complete projects, driving all corresponding engineering and design activities.
Project Execution: Ensure all engineering discipline activities within the project are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and within the defined time, cost, and scope framework.
Stakeholder & Customer Interface: Act as the main technical representative of the project toward customers and suppliers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive key decisions and maintain close collaboration with local and global engineering teams, R&D, product management, and production.
Academic Background: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering.
Professional Experience: At least 5 years of work experience in a technical, customer-focused environment, ideally within the railway, E-bus, or heavy electric vehicle propulsion sectors.
Project Management: Proven experience in technical project management.
Mindset & Work Style: A highly self-motivated and curious individual with a structured, organized approach to tackling engineering challenges.
Interpersonal Skills: A strong team player who thrives in high-performing team dynamics and communicates effectively across various levels.
Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a strong advantage.
