The Opportunity
Are you a PMP or PRINCE2 certified Project Manager looking to deliver high-impact technology that keeps Queenslanders safe?
I am currently recruiting for multiple Project Managers to join a high-performing Engineering and Technology branch. You will be at the helm of sophisticated safety technology projects—ranging from enforcement asset initiatives to the establishment of a brand-new, NATA-accredited calibration laboratory.
If you thrive in a structured PMBOK environment and enjoy the technical complexity of integrating hardware with back-office solutions, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Delivery: Own the scope, schedule, and cost of assigned projects within a massive technology portfolio.
- Technical Integration: Drive the rollout of enforcement assets and support the operational transition into a new accredited lab environment.
- Commercial Interface: Partner with procurement to manage supplier delivery, monitor performance, and validate milestones.
- Governance & Reporting: Maintain core project artefacts and provide high-level reporting aligned with PMBOK standards.
- Operational Readiness: Ensure a seamless handover to "Business as Usual" owners through documentation, training, and structured reviews.
Your Profile
To be successful in this AO8-level engagement, you will bring:
- Mandatory Certification: Current PMP Certification (preferred) or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
- Technical Savvy: Experience delivering technology or engineering assets, particularly within a large government or enterprise framework (TMR experience is highly regarded).
