We are seeking a Project Manager to take the lead in overseeing and coordinating a local plumbing construction company. This role involves managing the successful delivery of both local and defence projects in the Northern Territory, strictly adhering to budgets and schedules.

About Your New Role

Project Manager with experience in all aspects of building, plumbing and civil construction.

• Team management and development.
• Develop and track project schedules, including trade manpower loading for projects.
• Perform job cost tracking, reporting and forecasting to help determine final project costs while also estimating changes in scope of work.
• Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan
• Procure and manage project subcontractors and equipment vendors
• Inspect the job sites on a regular basis for contract compliance, workmanship, and safety

Qualifications

• Must have a solid understanding of the construction process in its entirety
• Advanced knowledge of plumbing and drainage systems - highly desirable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management of commercial construction projects for a commercial contractor

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Knowledge and application of AS3500 and AS1428 Highly desirable
• Effective project planning and scheduling capabilities
• Theoretical and practical understanding of contract management
• Quality management knowledge QA/QC
• Solid understanding of established HSECQ systems and principles.
