Lead and develop the regional purchasing team, ensuring efficient sourcing strategies and operational performance.
Secure supply continuity by proactively managing critical situations and ensuring timely material availability.
Implement initiatives to optimize purchasing costs and improve material efficiency.
Manage and strengthen supplier partnerships to ensure competitive conditions and long-term collaboration.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to safeguard operations.
Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve favorable commercial agreements.
Monitor procurement performance through KPIs and take corrective actions when required.
Work closely with production, quality, finance, and other internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
Your Profile:
Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
Proven experience in purchasing, preferably in direct materials, and ideally in a manufacturing setting.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strategic mindset with analytical abilities, able to deliver under tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficiency in procurement systems and digital tools.
