We are seeking a proactive and experienced QA Incharge for a contract position within the Steel industry in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Quality Assurance and a minimum of 3 years of experience, with a maximum of 10 years, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of quality control processes within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all Quality Assurance activities within the steel plant operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Analyze quality data and identify areas for improvement in production processes.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Train and mentor junior QA staff on quality assurance best practices.
- Prepare detailed quality reports for management review.
- Ensure that all materials and finished products meet specified quality requirements.
- Manage the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within the steel industry.
- Proven expertise in QA methodologies and quality control techniques.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in relevant QA software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
