An extensive 8-week training and orientation program with a dedicated buddy will be provided to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out microbiological Quality Control testing in accordance with standard test specifications and methods.
Perform core laboratory tasks including media preparation, plating out, streaking, swabbing, pipetting, and utilizing autoclaves.
Record test results accurately within company management software (SAP) and maintain precise training records.
Complete Out of Specification (OOS) reports and assist with laboratory investigations.
Maintain laboratory standards through equipment checks, cleaning, waste management, and restocking consumables.
Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement and lean processes.
Requirements & Skills
Education: Qualified to a Level 6 equivalent (Degree) in Microbiology or a related biological science subject (candidates currently studying toward this or with equivalent experience will also be considered).
Experience: Practical experience working within a microbiology laboratory environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (streaking, pouring plates, pipetting) and good numerical skills. Experience with SAP software is a plus.
Attributes: Ability to follow strict SOPs and methods precisely, strong organization skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to health and safety standards.
