Role Overview:
Position: QPC Head
Location: Calderys India Refractories Ltd ,Plot No. 8,9,609-611 & 614 ,Village : Bhuinpur, Tehsil : Begunia ,Dist : Khurda, Odisha 752062 .
Budget: 20+ LPA.
Core Requirements:
Education: B.Tech or M.Tech in Ceramic Technology/Engineering from a reputed Ceramic Institute.
Experience: Minimum 15–20 years of experience in a QA & QC role within a reputed Refractory industry.
Industry Focus: Strong experience in Refractory Monolithics or the brick industry is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of refractory testing, mineralogy, crystallography, and phase diagrams.
Standards: Expertise in implementing ISO, BIS, ASTM, DIN, EN, and API standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing quality assurance for raw materials, in-process checks, and finished products.
Conducting root cause analysis to reduce quality complaints and implementing corrective actions.
Supervising the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Training and mentoring the QA/QC teams to upgrade technical knowledge.
Conducting vendor audits and qualifying raw material suppliers.
