We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Officer to join our team on a contract basis in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marine radio operations and sailing, with a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain marine radio communication equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all national and international maritime radio regulations.
- Effectively communicate with vessels, shore stations, and emergency services.
- Monitor radio channels for distress, urgency, and safety calls.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of radio equipment.
- Assist in navigation and safety procedures as required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radio Officer.
- Maximum of 8 years of experience as a Radio Officer.
- Proficiency in marine radio operations.
- Experience in sailing or maritime environments.
- Relevant certifications or licenses for a Radio Officer.
- Strong understanding of maritime communication protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
