To qualify as a reach truck driver, it is important that you meet the following requirements:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You speak Dutch or English
- You have your own transport to get to work in Poeldijk
- You are available from 07:00 to 15:00/16:00, Sunday through Friday
- You are available at least 2 Sundays per period
- You have demonstrable experience working on a reach truck
- You are willing to work in cold storage or the freezer
You arrive on location and go straight upstairs where you get changed. 🧥✨ Then, you clock in and get to work as a reach truck driver. 🚜 You work with orders that you pick using voice picking. 🎧 Because you drive the reach truck, you handle all the high-level orders. 🪜 You do this in the dry dock (17 degrees 🌡️), cold storage (around 4 degrees 🧊) & freezer (around -24 ❄️).
Your shift is usually finished around 15:00/16:00, but sometimes there is more work or a lot of people are off sick, so it might run over a bit. 🕒 Of course, you will be properly paid for this! 💰✅
- You handle inventory management.
- You will process incoming goods.
- You help colleagues by preparing items for the order pickers.
