As a Regulatory Business Analyst, you play a crucial role in keeping the bank safe by translating legislation into concrete actions.

1. Analysis & implementation

• You study and analyze new or amended rules, procedures, and guidelines regarding financial security, based on the gap analysis provided by Compliance.
• You identify processes or controls that are not fully compliant and proactively define clear and feasible action plans (requirements) to address these shortcomings (CPL Framework).
• You ensure alignment and coordination between Compliance, Legal Affairs, and operational teams to guarantee a consistent interpretation of the regulations.

2. Coordination & stakeholder Management

• You act as the main point of contact (outside of Compliance) for questions concerning financial security policy and regulations.
• You serve as the link between the Compliance and Implementation teams to facilitate communication.
• You report to the Team Lead of the Transversal Coordination Team and work closely with the FS Risk Lead.
• You support teams during internal controls (audits/IG missions), including preparation and critical review of the findings.

3. Quality & management

• You act as Project Manager, if necessary, for specific projects resulting from your analyses.
• You ensure a proper audit trail (documentation) and guarantee that the information on the SharePoint environment is continuously up-to-date.

• Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the financial sector, specifically in Compliance, financial security, and banking sector processes.
• Extensive experience in diverse professional environments, ranging from operations/IT to transformation/change management and (customer-focused) sales.
• Thorough understanding of the core activities and strategy of key stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
