Location: Chandrapur, Maharashtra Experience: 3–5 Years (Heavy Industry/Cement/Power preferred) Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering + Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
On-site Vigilance: Conduct daily floor inspections to identify hazards related to high-temperature kilns, heavy machinery, and dust exposure.
Permit to Work (PTW): Issue and monitor permits for high-risk activities, including Confined Space Entry, Work at Height, and Hot Work.
Incident Management: Lead accident/near-miss investigations, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
Safety Training: Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT) and safety induction for permanent staff and contractual labor.
Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to OHSAS/ISO standards and statutory safety norms specific to Maharashtra's industrial regulations.
Emergency Response: Maintain fire-fighting equipment and lead mock drills for emergency evacuation.
Required Skills
Technical: Knowledge of LOTOTO (Lock-out, Tag-out, Try-out) and conveyor belt safety.
Soft Skills: Strong command over Hindi/Marathi to communicate effectively with the local workforce.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work in dusty, high-temperature, and noisy environments.
