The Coordinator is responsible for managing the lifecycle of projects from the initial tender phase through to the receipt of the Purchase Order (PO). This role involves identifying unquoted project opportunities and providing high-level administrative and executive support to the commercial sales team.

Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 per year
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
Flexible Hours: Choose between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Breaks: 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks daily.
Holiday Closure: The company is closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Responsibilities
Market Monitoring: Conduct daily monitoring of platform to identify new opportunities and analyze competitor activity on open and closed projects.
Communicate key findings to sales representatives to facilitate "or equal" product substitutions.
Take ownership of non-bid projects and perform periodic follow-ups on closed tenders.
Technical Analysis & Estimation
Perform in-depth analysis of blueprints, technical specifications, and specific client requirements.
Estimate material quantities for foundations and calculate related installation costs.
Provide technical assistance for complex projects (facades, swimming pools) and prepare project tables for presentations.
Bid Coordination & Follow-up
Systematically gather critical project data (specifiers, general contractors, timelines, quantities) using a standardized checklist.
Liaise with general contractors to identify low bidders and maintain contact for future project opportunities.
Provide net pricing to subcontractors and validate installation dates and quantities prior to final bid submission.
Pricing Strategy: Make recommendations based on "Job Costing" and perform price revisions for over-budget projects in collaboration with technical and sales directors.
Act as the primary point of contact to resolve product availability issues during the bidding phase.
Enter and maintain accurate information for large-scale projects within the CRM and internal client management systems.
Reporting: Generate and distribute project reports to assist representatives in their sales follow-ups.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
Experience: Proven track record in a coordination or service-oriented role with a strong administrative component.
Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite; mastery of SAP is considered a major asset.
Language Skills: Full professional fluency in French and English (both written and spoken).
Industry Expertise: Previous experience or knowledge in the plumbing or ceramics industries is highly valued.
Candidate Profile: * Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage shifting priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
